Ratings agencies ‘don’t sufficiently factor-in climate risk’

Beyond Ratings co-founder and CEO Rodolphe Bocquet was featured the following article published in Environmental Finance on April 27, 2017.

Sovereign credit ratings do not adequately factor-in long-term risks from climate change and other environmental factors, according to one assessment provider.

“Market solutions that were existing were lacking the ability to account for other metrics than short-term financial metrics,” said Rodolphe Bocquet, CEO of Beyond Ratings, speaking at AFLI’s Impact Investing conference in Luxembourg.
